Oxford Science and Maths Tutors

Oxford Science and Maths Tutors is a specialist tutorial establishment in Oxford which has twenty years of experience helping students with a range of academic profiles—from high-fliers aiming for the top universities to GCSE students who just need a pass in one or two core subjects. We are a small organization, which allows us to give a great deal of individual attention to all our students. They come to us for a variety of reasons.

IMPROVING A-LEVEL GRADES

We have helped many with disappointing A-level results which prevented them from pursuing the university course on which they had their hearts set, and for whom Clearing seemed an unpalatable option. Resitting offers a chance to put this setback behind you. It may take another year, but during this time you can improve not just your grades but your study habits too. With the close personal support and guidance offered by our experienced tutors, the skills you develop can enable you to cope more effectively with A-levels the next time round, and also with university study.

A DIFFERENT STUDY ENVIRONMENT

A number of students reach the half-way point in the sixth form, or even the end of their GCSE year, and are not really satisfied. Everybody has to leave school eventually, but some people simply outgrow it earlier than others. You may feel it is just no longer the right environment for you, with its rigid framework and regulations. We can't promise to do away with homework, unfortunately, but we can offer the chance of a fresh start in an environment where you are treated as a young adult, and where the focus is absolutely on you as an individual.

GET THOSE GRADES!

The final one or two years before university are of profound importance and what happens during them can potentially play a huge role in the future direction of your life. Getting the right grades is of critical importance and helping you to get them is the reason we are here.
