Full-time A-level courses

There are many reasons why you may wish to study for A-levels here at Oxford Science and Maths Tutors.

- your school may not have a sixth form

- you may find the traditional school environment no longer suits you and decide you really need a change

- perhaps you wish to do an unusual subject or a non-standard combination of subjects and your school is unable to cater for your needs

- maybe you have taken your A-levels already and want to improve your grade to increase your options for the future

- it could be that you are applying to Oxford or Cambridge, or for a highly competitive course such as medicine, and you want to maximize your chances of success

- you may be looking for a specialist college

Whatever the reason, at Oxford Science and Maths Tutors you will find a small tutorial college where the environment is relaxed but focused, and the tutors highly skilled both in their subjects and in communicating it to others. Although we specialize in mathematics and the sciences, we offer a full range of other academic subjects. You will find there are no restrictions on either the subject or combination of subjects you can do. You will be taught through a mixture of small group and one-to-one tuition, with extensive individual attention.

A-levels are normally taken over two years. However, if you are bright and motivated, or if you have had some experience of A-level or AS level study (even in different subjects), then you may be able to do your A-levels in just a year. Normally a student would be here from September to June. However, we are extremely flexible so students can begin studying here at any time of the year.
